O2 Academy, Newcastle – Thurs 15th October 2009

Still can’t believe I got this gig – I think it could be possibly my biggest show to date (If I don’t include festivals). The show had been sold out for months and last time they were in Newcastle they played the Arena – the gig really didn’t seem that full though for a sell out crowd. Got in the venue fine and took Victoria with me, no photopass on the door at first but managed to get it sorted just 15 minutes before they came on stage, a little annoying as I missed photographing the support band Music, Go Music.

Pretty straight forward show to shoot and I’m Really happy with the results – they had a nice lighting set up with crazy backdrop which added to getting some different shots to the usual academy shots. I was shooting for Change The Record, the full set of images can be seen HERE.
