The Maccabees

O2 Academy, Newcastle – Thursday 7th October 2009

I was lucky enough to arrange a pass last minute for The Maccabees at the O2 Academy, Newcastle – Really enjoyed the show, only two acts on the bill and the first act really weren’t that great but The Maccabees put on a great live performance as ever! Wasn’t a fan of The Maccabees until earlier this year when I caught them for the first time live at Evolution Festival 2009 – My sister is a huge fan and until I saw them live I had never really given them a proper listen. There new album “Wall of Arms” is defiantly worth a listen!
